Ok, I've looked around a bit and haven't seen this answered anywhere.
I know that the maximum number of custom tracks you can load at once is supposedly 600 - (Xbox HD - 200, USB stick - 200, 2nd USB stick - 200)
However are we all assuming this simply because the Xbox only has two USB inputs? What about USB hubs?
In theory if you were to purchase two of these you could have EIGHT flash drives plugged in at once. That's 9 memory units including the Xbox HD itself - 1,800 custom tracks!
I'm currently at just under 400 tracks myself, so nowhere near needing this kind of setup, but I would hate to have to start deleting tracks once I reach 600, so I'm just wondering if this is even possible.
Has anyone out there put this theory to the test? Do any developers know the answer to my question without needing to test it out?

You can get a trilobyte external hard drive for x box if u really wanted.. I forget who makes it..
It's in an issue of OXM ill have a look threw my mags if u really want..
^^
Trilobyte?
...you mean a Terabyte? (1024 Gigabytes)
In any case, the issue is not the amount of memory - custom track files are actually extremely small.
The limitation is that for some reason you can only store 200 per memory device, regardless of how big it is. Even with a Terabyte Drive you could still only store 200, even if that only took up 0.0001% of the space on the drive.
This isn't exactly true. By copying/moving tracks from one device to another through the dashboard, you are able to have 600 tracks load off of a single storage device.Originally Posted by Malachyte
The maximum amount of tracks that the game loads is still 600, but you don't need to limit yourself to putting 200 tracks on each USB/MU.
You are still "limited" to only loading 600 tracks at once, but you can store 1200 tracks on just 2 devices this way.
Trilobyte...but yeah thanx shifty.. could you not just keep on transferring tracs over to an external HD.. maybe not.
But either way you could have endless tracs on dif mu/usb etc..
But would u really want to wait for all those tracs to load up before playing..
Enlighten me! I had no idea this was possible... how does it work? You just download more tracks to an external device and then copy them back to the internal XBox HD?Originally Posted by ShiftySamurai
You need at least 2 storage devices to do this, I use my HDD and a USB drive.
My example will leave the HDD free to download tracks, but the USB drive will only be used to load tracks to play.
1. Start Trials HD and go to "User Content", when the game asks you to select a storage device, select your HDD.
2. Download as many, or few, tracks as you want to your HDD.
3. Exit to the Xbox Dash.
4. Navigate to "My Xbox" > System Settings > Memory
5. Press the "Y" button while highlighting your HDD, select "Transfer Content", then select your USB drive.
6. Press "X" to clear selected content, then select "Games", navigate to Trials HD and select it.
7. Press the "B" button to return to the "Transfer Content" screen, press right on the d-pad to highlight "Start" and press "A".
This method moves ALL Trials HD info, including the game and DLC to your USB drive, this is best used only the first time you are moving a large amount of tracks to a device.
To move Trials HD and DLC back to your HDD follow the above steps to 4, then continue.
5. Highlight And select your USB device.
6. Select "Games" > "Trials HD". Press "Up" on the d-pad, this takes you to the bottom of the list and will highlight the Big Thrills DLC.
7. Copy each part of the game back to your HDD.
You will also want to use this method if you are moving a smaller amount of tracks from your HDD to a USB drive.
Well shifty already answered this one....lol
I need to make a video to show how to do this. So many people still don't know you can have 600/device.
I never knew you could do that, I'll try to follow Shifty's instructions later but it would be good to see a video tutorial from Jarr. Appreciate the info guys!
yeah shifty but if you want to download more tracks you cant if you do that, which sucks
