Can anyone explain the player leaderboards to me? I'll use me and xPro as an example.
If I click on the leaderboards this is what it shows


It shows me being in first with 3,327,441 points.

If I click on xPro's global leaderboard it shows this


It shows me being in 18th place with 171,095 points.

Are my leaderboard points for my tracks separate from my points on other peoples tracks?

The leaderboards are based on all your personal tracks put together.

So lets say you created 5 tracks and put the information on the website. Then your leaderboards consist of the sum of all the points the players have on your tracks.

In your example you have placed scores for all your tracks and xpro either sucks on all your tracks or he has only entered scores for some of them.

The same thing goes for his leaderboards.

thanks that's what I wanted to know. I think we both only have times up for 1 of each others tracks.

Yeah just think of it as your tracks global leaderboards. That way people can fight the way to the top playing your tracks. If you want to compare between you and xpro then use the versus mode to get a better view on how you guys stack between the tracks both of you have recently played.

I tried implementing the same formula that Redlynx uses. I think I'm pretty close to the same results.

If you go to your leaderboard you will see all the points from all the players that have played your tracks. If they have played just one track you will see it there.

The versus mode is a comparison tool. It takes the top 10 latest tracks that BOTH players have played and compares them side by side. It shows the gold medal to the best player at the moment. As soon as you guys play other tracks as long as they are the same it will change the tool. It's a way to keep a rivalry going.
