So what are the new rules?
Well, since you asked what my rules are...
I only really moderate on the most extreme cases of blatant vulgarity/lashing out/personal attacks by editing posts.
That's about it. There's not a lot else that needs done right now, but those posts take a while to sort out.
If you see something that you don't think should be on an age unrestricted forum, then please report the post. This doesn't mean that you report posts because you don't agree with the idea behind it, but that common decency would keep you from posting the same thing.
We don't want to change the way the forum has been for the last couple of years with needless moderation.
When Redlynx posts their set of Forum Rules/Guidelines, then Oski and myself, and the previously existing mods, will do no more than what they present.
This isn't the Mod's Forum, it's your forum. And as such, part of the responsibility for keeping it fun rests with every user.
The forums will explode again when Evolution and MotoHeroz are released, and the "older" users, those of you who have been here a while and know what the forums can be, will be the real foundations and pillars of the community.
Sorry I didn't list any "what not to do" things, but we all know what should and shouldn't be said on a video game forum.
Of course my stance will become whatever the Administration of the Forums decides when they set there rules.

Re: So what are the new rules?
What is sexually inappropriate? Can I tell Kyoshi he's a husky stud?
Can I post multiple times after myself in a thread if I get excited?

So what are the new rules?
I would say that PG-13 (in the USA, not sure about ratings in other countries) would be fine. NC-17, or Restricted probably wouldn't be.
You can call him a "sexy stud" if you don't mind being branded a liar for the rest of your days.
As for the double and triple posts - it can be annoying, it's unneeded bumps. Most of your topics already bounce along at a good pace, and you have the ability to edit your posts. Why not just edit them, I do. I do that a lot. I'll probably edit this post as well.
did!)
But really, do YOU think that calling Kyoshi a stud, or posting three times in a row is a warning, let alone banning, offense?
I think it's fine, very slightly annoying, but fine. I don't mean Kyoshi's stud-ness is annoying, but the 3 x Mega Posts.
Come now Starfire, we don't always see eye to eye, but we both know you have a brain, you really already know what's acceptable. You've been doing fine with your (over) 800 posts.

Re: So what are the new rules?
I'm lost, was there an official announcement for this somewhere? Anyway, congrats to our new mods for being all powerful! May your banhammers strike viciously on the faces of trolls, griefers, and spambots

Re: So what are the new rules?
Anyone who's spoken to me on the mic knows I ( I think most of us ) am a lot...er...coarser than I present myself on here lol. I try and keep my posts here inside the borders of good taste and inoffensive as I enjoy the vibe this forums always had.
I do throw out the odd cuss word here and there, as have most of us on occasion through stress or humour. Maybe it's juvenile but I hope we'll still be able to drop a few strategic fuuuuuuuuuuu's here and there
Do understand the forums are gonna be BUMPIN again soon though and think the new mods will do an excellent job in ensuring they'll be a fun place to visit for everyone

Re: So what are the new rules?
I want to swear when I send message via Live, but I'm too paranoid to trust Microsoft. In a public avenue such as this, I don't feel an urge to swear, only when it's 1-on-1, yeah!!!
