Wow. I just saw this post and realized how dumb it makes me look.

Google+ currently has over (an estimated) 5 million people on Google+. A 5 million person beta. Its called a beta, right? Google is the only company on the planet who could make some thing invite only and get 5 million people in 2 weeks. Don't forget that they prevented users from access for about 2 of those days. To be honest, I like it way more than Facebook. It just needs people. The way that circles work are fantastic and the only problems with the site are just a lot of very tiny things, which doesn't take away from the site really.

For those of you who don't know what the main selling point of Google+ is, I'll try to explain. You can organize your friends into groups called circles. When you post a status, share something, or do whatever, you can select exactly which circles can see your post. You wanna post a picture of you getting trashed? Don't share it with your family and church circle and the rest of your friends can see it and comment on it all they want. Your parents wouldn't have a clue. You wanna post something about video games that's really nerdy but don't want that hot chick you have your eye on to see it? Just share it with your gaming friends circle. Simple as that.

It also let's you follow your favorite Youtube stars on a much more personal level. It's kind of like being friends with them on Facebook, but in more of a "following" way. There are a couple other great things too, but the circles is the main thing.
