Spectrum 48k... but my dad had Atari with light guns ..you shot white squares for duck hunt etc
My first was the Sinclair ZX81, after that it'd be easier to list what I haven't had ( console wise ).
Early computers, I had a Sinclair Spectrum 16 and 48k, A Sinclair QL, Commodore 64, Atari ST, Commodore Amiga was the last comp till I got a PC 5 yrs back. Pretty much owned every mainstream console and quite a few obscure ones...I'm such a spod lol.
Did anyone every go for the Neogeo? I didn't but I remember the games being about 120 quid!! I did play Toki and Magician Lord which were good! 120 quid! Jebus!!!Originally Posted by JoeRegular
Yeah the price stopped me getting the Neo Geo...the cartridges were like loaves of bread too![]()
Anyone else ever have the PC Engine?
When i was younger, one of my neighbors had a neogeo and us neighborhood kids always went over and played it. It was AWESOME.Originally Posted by Skag
I only ever played the arcade neogeo machines, the ones with 6 games on one machine.
One of my all time favourite games has to be Thunderforce III on the Megadrive. One of the best space style shoot em-ups ever!
Can anyone remember (probably UK only) a magazine called Mean Machines? Seriously good multi computer magazine. Jaz was the editor with the best mullet in existance.
EDIT: found the link to the staff profiles.

I remember faintly, but still remember when I was like 3, we lived in Brazil where me nor my brothers could get any friends, mostly because the locals would see us and be like..
"AMAHREECAN! HEY, AMAHREECAN! LOOK AT DEES!
SHEET. DAHM. AHSS. FOOCKER, MOTHAFOOCKER!"
But anyways, we got an N64, which was a life saver, and on the first day of getting it, my brothers wouldn't let me play it at all, which pissed me off..
...So I grabbed it and all it's accessories, and threw it DIRECTLY OUT OUR 13TH STORY WINDOW, SMASHING IT COMPLETELY.
..which, in retrospect, makes me realize that maybe that wasn't a good idea.
