It amazes me how much pride and joy certain people get from this game... I play it for fun... Not to build up my EGO on a game that means absolutely NOTHING in the REAL WORLD... People Like GlobalShockWave and High Deff make me laugh... It's just a game fellas... It's an Arcade Game at That... How about taking over the LB's of a real game that has more than 2 millions people playing it... Enjoy your top spots, once EVO comes out they won't mean a DAMN THING...

The millions more players on "real game" leaderboards are irrelevant since a person going for world records is actually only competing against the 10 people that actually have the ability to take "X" record. It's not the like the millions of other people are actually competition.
The only possible thing that a game with more players on the leaderboards grants is a higher probability of one of those players being one of the top 10.
As long as you are going for world records, it's only the top 10 that you are actually competing against. If someone got 1st on a track that had 1,900,000 players on it and then the 1,899,998 players that aren't in the top 2 got kicked out then the value of the world record remains exactly the same.
It's not about how many players are on the leaderboard, it's about the quality of the run.
If Lestropie was the only person playing Trials HD would he be any less talented just because there aren't millions of noobs playing as well?
