Not a hard-core map maker or pro at it...but I enjoy making them.
Welcome to the forums!
Now here's some editor tips for you
1. Try adding some background. It really adds to the feel of the track, and makes people want to play it again. But remember, a good driving line is more important than hyper detailed background.
2. Try to decide on a theme (eg. Wild West, Disco, or just using wood objects), this will make the track feel less random.
3. Try not to use too many effects and/or lights, as they will cause lag if overused.
4. You can press one of the analog sticks (can't remember which) to center the object on the driving line.
5. Watch and play other people's tracks. You will learn a lot, and get inspiration!
6. Have fun! If it's not fun when you play it, it won't be fun for others either.
There are my tips, hope they help!![]()
