I have to agree, to a certain degree. I have seen some threads being derailed by off-topic discussion and some rather petty arguments taking place, but it's usually the more controversial or "arguable" topics that end up crumbling. There are still many new and on-going discussions that are acceptable and fun to take part in.

However, I guess you could say we're all a little ADD on the inside
