Let's get a new thread going (We're wearing alittle thin!).
Okay so it's simple, just post the reasoning behind you Xbox Live Gamertag or Forum Username.
I'll start;
T4K Shadow-
T4K stands for a small group of my friends who enjoy playing games for fun, and never take anything too seriously when we're all together, playing Halo or something. It originally stood for something (really gay) but has since been removed so now we're just T4K, with no meanings.![]()
Shadow I was unsure of when creating my new Gamertag, I wanted something that sounded awesome but didn't have any MLG, PR0, or XxXX in it. Every member of T4K has something similiar to mine, such as Reaper or Viper.
Except for that one ******ed friend who called himself T4K Sgt Special!![]()
OKAY GO!
WeededJPimpin - On xbox live for the original xbox I played on my older brother's gamertag. He thought it was cool.![]()
MLG oLogiKo - no comment....
Mjayyyyyyyyyyyy - I was 13 at the time and I thought it was so cool. When I look back I realize how stupid that name truly was. Which leads me to my current gamertag:
Kyoshi Yozima - It sounds cool. I'm sure I'll look back a few years from now thinking it was stupid but as for now I like it![]()
I'll play here...
Raistlin is raistlin majere my all time fictional hero. I like to think I have his traits.. ( read dragonlance chronicles, or Google him )
2076 is cause I couldn't have 1976 .. the year I was born..
Simpels
hey we should do a thread where we all say what our usernames/gamertags stand for..no more shadow i promise.
despite what people say i dont think willy's are yum, my surname is Williams, and like shadow i didnt want WiiLLiiaMs xX v3.
in fact only today i had someone on black ops say "hey willyumz, did you know you have 'willy' in your name?"![]()
I made my gamertag when I was 14 or 15. I used to be into skateboarding and I like the Flip company. I ate tacos the night before setting up my Xbox live account. I was in a rush to get online and start playing. This happened.
I've always thought about changing it to something different or nicer but I've tied this username to too many different websites and services to consider changing it a viable option. That, and my creative ability to think of a new moniker that I know I'd be happy with years from now is lacking. I guess I'm stuck with this for the time being![]()

I've been ShiftySamurai since the very very early days of Xbox Live. I basically wanted "samurai" in it because I think that honor and respect should mean something. Respect should be given to all, except those with no respect for others, there should be no "earning" respect, only losing it.
I'm a fan of the Japanese mentality that you should work hard and not expect to be rewarded for doing what you already know you should. I believe that breaking your word is one of the weakest things you can do.
Shifty came in from the random name generator as I didn't want to be "Samurai" with no qualifier.
Shifty is, in my opinion, someone not to be trusted when they say something. Someone to whom giving their word means nothing.
A ShiftySamurai is a contradiction, as any Samurai who dishonored himself would request permission to have his life ended.
I liked the opposing ideas that the name ShiftySamurai made me think of, so I registered it and haven't ever looked back.
I've had the name jook since 7th grade... so for over 15 years now.
I used to think these commercials were funny back then.

I made my yahoo email account then, adding 13 because its my lucky number. I was born of a friday the 13th.
I like it because its simple, and different. I dont think its important to have a name that sounds "cool" I am a wierd guy and it fits me.
Yeah, but now you are "jook13, you know, that dude that won that thing in that contest that one time."
