ive already come up with the threads best idea earlier and youre welcome shadow! but this ones genius;

why, jook, wait until you fault for the automatic restart? lets have the system know 3 seconds in advance BEFORE we fault and just restart it then. saves time, saves money

Ender, how can you say a FAST restart makes it EASY when there's no skill/difficulty involved in bringing up the pause menu, select quit and restart the tournament at all? I want to use my time as efficient as possible - that's all.

I understand your point that it increases the sense of accomplishment for you but that's the great thing - making it an option let's you decide if you want to use it or not.

having 0-faulted the Midnight Club myself, aswell as Ultimate League, Big Thrills Countdown and Nervous Breakdown i can see what Enders talking about. it really does take that extra bit of determination to plow through the menus time after time because of a slight mistake and in the end it does also, i think, make that faultless run all the more truimphant.

that being said i can also see the other point of view and i would like a faster way of doing it myself, as I suggested earlier, a choice is the best solution

Ender, if a track is difficult only because it's extremely laggy or has terrible cameras; should it even be considered difficult?

That's how I feel about the current tournament reset interface. It's frustrating for all of the wrong reasons.

No it's just a bad track and after two years there's no excuse for it other than you're very new to the game. Not sure how you're relating a laggy track to having to press a couple buttons but i get that it's frustrating.

I guess in my mind i was thinking that everyone's frustration/annoyance with it = hard, and if it was a fast one button restart it would = easy.

but you're right, the way it is now isn't hard or all that time consuming, it's just annoying to have to do it 50 times.
