1. optional camera angles for first person view, handle bar view and helmet cam view to see excatly what terrain ur getting into and where ur next move will be before you even get there!
That would be pretty cool i guessOriginally Posted by hondarider26![]()
Bah, those were in Trials 2 SE, and are useful only for replays because playing this way makes the game even harder, much harder.Originally Posted by hondarider26

T2SE had a ****load of cam views, but only two were used for competitive play; Action cam and Direct cam. A guesstimate would be that 60-70% used Action cam, which resembles the THD cam a lot. The rest used Direct cam, and I was in this group.
Direct cam resembles the cam used on Roadkill. Maybe that's why Roadkill is my best track in THD. I simply cannot get used to the THD cam and if I could only wish for ONE thing in Evolution, it would be a Direct cam.. the rest I can live with, but this is incredibly important for me and I was gutted that there were no alternate cameras in THD.
I remember Jorma gave some technical mumbo jumbo as to why this wasn't in THD already, and I'm sure it's too late to implement in Evo now, but I'll still be hoping for it.
That direct cam would be pretty nice. Would help a lot for all of those people that make 1 bit trip type tracks (which i wonder if you will still be able to make those in evo)
lets keep in mind that it would be OPTINAL, able to turn it OFF and ON in the menu. if you didnt like it just switch back to normal camera, OFF. i ride trials bikes and being able to get first person view would spice this game up a bit.
Of course having it optional would be the way to go. But if it is an option that only 1% of the people will use, why put it in? Have you ever played a custom track where the maker put the camera behind the rider? Using left and right to lean forward and back in this view is borderline unplayable. It could be neat for replays though.

That track comes to mind.... no fun to try and play through.
I get what you are saying. with a 1st person view, any of my current tracks would be loaded with detail on the left, and empty on the right.
