FatShady, wow great review! You totally nailed it, you do get the game. It's funny we read all the reviews, comments, on iTunes and different forums, different threads, and there's a small core group of players who immediately "get" the game right away. others takes them a bit, then they see, it's all about playing the same level over and over IN ONE DAY for your best time, and competing against friends.

It is odd some people compare us to "endless runners" when this game is not at all like that.
Thanks. Appreciate it. I have made a bunch of people on Kotaku buy Trials HD and I'm hoping this article will help get them into this game. I'll post the link when it is posted next week

After playing it quite a bit now, here's what I like and dislike:

    Likes:
    Charming art design
Charming music (would prefer more variety though )
Easy to learn difficult to master
    Addictive
A new Hero and course each day is a great hook
You can play it for a couple of minutes waiting in a line etc.
    I like the ghost
    Great value for a dollar!

    Dislikes:
The floaty bobblehead physics are not as satisfying as Trials for example
I absolutely HATE the loose rocks. The colour makes them difficult to see at times (especially the flat ones). I'll often rage-quit after having a great run and then hit a loose rock--they are too unforgiving, imo.
I wish there was an option to make the buttons bigger.
Maybe it's just me, but I don't understand the point of collecting the gold coins.
Spelling "Heroz" with a "z" might suggest to potential buyers that the game is just for little kids. jmo

Anyway, I love the work that you folks at RedLynx do and think it's really cool that you participate in the forums here! Thanks!
