For some reason my App Store fails on almost every update.
I am not looking forward to it.
bloody hell you guys are good. I keep trying to get on top of my revengering, and every time I do, someone has to come and beat my score at the last minute. *shakes fist*. It's only going to get harder with the update and an influx of new Trials members... millertime being the scare one.
@ shady. I recently left Sydney for the north coast... still, no reason not to start a global war against those 'Merican folks.
Yeah, war against the Canadians in North America! War against the Mexicans in South America!Originally Posted by arseiam

I, an "American", think the same way. Lespritdelescal, a Canadian, certainly does not want to be lumped in with us USArs.
It's sad. But by all means, Global War on North America (Canada first)!!!!!
Canada is DUMB.
I live about 20 minutes away and dislike going there (mostly because I hate driving in Canada for some reason)
Yeah man im always keen. Been to US and Canada a few times and I actually really like both places.Originally Posted by arseiam
Few funny 'Merican stories though:
Both Canada and AUS are part of the commonwealth, so technically still have ties to the UK monarchy, the Queen is on Aussie $5 notes and when I was in canada, I tried to get change in Canadian dollars for internet or something... the chick was shocked and says "Hey, thats our Queen!".. I had to inform her that its the same Queen and neither of us own her!
I was at the Sydney opera house for 1999/2000 new years eve and met about 5 guys and girls from Canada. They had their faces painted white with the red maple leaf flag right in the middle of their faces... i played dumb and said.. "are you guys American?" lol
But then I also played football (Gridiron/American) for a Aussie team that got to play against a college in Texas and a semi pro team. MAN those dudes take football serious. I went to a church service with the students after practice, and it wasnt a priest giving the sermon, it was the Defensive co-ordinator. The game a speach where he told a story about Jesus playing football against SIN university and he scored a touchdown. I dont have any issues with the religious side of things, but it was crazy how much football and religion were woven together... South Western Assemblies of GOD University (SAGU) if your interested.
Wow I just smashed first place. I mean it's not that much but a clean .2 of a second ahead of everyone. 14.2!!!!! I was at 14.9 before that run.
I actually had so much speed up that last wooden ramp I almost jumped all the way to the finish line. I only landed half way down the second part of the final slope.
I thought 14.4 was the best this track had. I'll write up a tutorial when I get home. I really want a first place as my best is 2 nd but not sure I can beat it. Good luck guys.
Wow. Impressive dude!Originally Posted by FatShady
I'll be looking out for your tutorial.
OK my attempt at a tutorial for today:
from the start, drop down the little slope then jump over the bubble. You want a small jump to just clear the bubble then run down the hill. The momentum of this run should, without jumping, get you to clip the top of the next bubble. You may have to do a small jump depending on how fast you go but only a tiny one.
you want to land just flat to keep running on the top section before the rocks. if you get it right, you dont have to jump until you hit the third rock. Do a small jump but try to clear most of the stick. Hitting the last bit of the stick is on but try not to get launched in the air. from here, just keep running. You may find it quicker to do a small jump just before the wooden bridge so you land clean on the downward slope just afterwards.
When you reach the rock, you want to do a small jump so that you land on the last part of the bubble (right hand side). What you want to do is clear the small dip and land on the downward slope of the next smaller dip. Do a tiny jump over the rock and then just keep running. you will run u the wooden slope, you should clear the entire swing and land nicely on the first downward slope after the swing, just keep running to the end.
I found that this technique was easily get me 15 second runs. I got a few 14.9s with it too. It is the same thing I did the 14.2 with but i fluked the ending like crazy!
Hope that is clear. Ask questions but dont beat me please!
EDIT: Funny thing about my time today, I did that time while standing up on a moving train on the way home!!
