It's so nice to be in a forum that is full of really great people, rather one full of those that'd rather hate on the others that post.
Competing along side other rather than competing against others is awesome.

I think this series of posts is EXACTLY what makes these forums great. You have touched on something very dear to me. I hate black ops, MW2 type of games. I don't hate the players, but It frustrates me that in those games you have to make someone else, another player 'lose' for you to 'win'. The competition is very agressive and as a result there are huge egos that go with it. Because you are going toe to toe with someone, losing often feels bad and it is very personal.
With Trials, there is HUGE amounts of competition, but you will notice that apart from a very small number of multi account holders and a few trolls, we are largely a group of guys that will fight to the end to get the best time, but will also share our secrets. The competition is much more friendly. Sure I will beat your time or vice versa, but when you are playing, you are really playing against yourself. Your nerves, your skillz. If you beat someone else, it is because you were better. If they beat you, you have another go, but at no point, can the other person negatively impact your time.
I much prefer this personal competition. Sure i like leaderboards and competition, but not at the expense of others enjoyment.
Im not saying these other games should go away, Im getting BF3 when it drops for example, but I just think that this is why you find so many good guys in here. We are all drawn to this type of competition. We dont have massive egos and we let our times talk for us....
Just wanted to share that...
