Did u guys saw the lbp2 community. Seriously even the best and most badass levels get 20% dislikes.
I'm not on Playstation, but yeah that's what I'm getting at. You can trust people to vote honestly all you want, but there will always be people out there that will vote the best stuff badly, for whatever reason. That's why I was trying to think of ways to elaborate the rating system, like rating on looks, driveline, etc.Originally Posted by crazhalo
Maybe that way if somebody gets a bad run on a track, they'll vote the line down, but if the track looks cool they'll maybe still give it props for decoration. Or on the flip side, a track that may have a super fun, addictive driveline but has no decoration or environment to it could be rated up for playability but down for looks, balancing things out with more accuracy.
Please, NO rating system. Cant have the ninja butthurts rating the track a 1 star outta 5. And people will play favorites that way despite some of the best creators coming out with their not-so-best work. It should be simple- anyone making customs can upload it to Track Central, then anyone wanting to download it should enter in the gamertag of the creator and voila! No custom leaderboards, no rating, nada.
Oh will we have a theater mode? Id like to know if we're able to save some of our runs that arent personal bests, just for timesavers or showing off or whatever. And being able to share custom replays with friends on list. As well as a rewind or slo-mo replay feature for all those 'oh no he didnt' moments.![]()

I wanna know about this "curvy" ride line. Say you have a sharp turn, do you have to slow down to make the turn? And do you have to make sure you dont jump right before the turn and over-shoot it off the track? Is there a limit to how sharp the turn can be? If it is all mellow turns and flowy, it shouldnt affect gameplay very much, it would just spice up the look and graphics.
When you make tracks are the shortcuts that people are still finding today intentionally put there ?
organizable custom tracks would be cool. Say instead of having 7 tracks in a row you could click on a gamertag instead and then pick the track from that particular person to play.
I'm with Jook, tell us more about this curvy line thing. I can see examples in both the current screenshots, but I would like to know some more limits.
Could I built a track with the player going under scaffolding and have a u-turn at the end and send people back over the scaffolding? Can I make the track cross over itself?
Even if this were the only addition to to the editor, it would completely alter the way that we make tracks.
Sorry if it's been asked already but will we be able to have more than 200 customs saved per device. I hate having to rummage around looking for sticks when I've got 200Gb sitting empty.
