slinky youve earned your reputation just the same way he did, by being the best (more or less).
people still bring lestropie up because he did that aswell as being humble, modest and keeping his ego in check.
thats my view anyway. not sure about the other weak minded fools.
The lestro achieved what he did very early on. In my mind that is what makes him legend. He had a knack for learning the physics much faster than I have seen anybody else do it. I remember when all of his extreme track records were at least 5-6 seconds ahead of second place. I also remember his Ultimate Endurance was over 2 minutes faster than second place. Of course when he stopped playing, people will catch up and pass him.
There are new stars in this game now. It will be interesting to see how different the physics and controls are in Evo, and to see which THD players pick it up and learn quickly compared to which players will take a while to get the hang of things. I bet I am part of that second group.

Nothing pretentious about it really. The guy was way better than like 99% of us are now viewtopic.php?f=35&t=35 52 over 1 year ago.
I've played probably like 10 times more of this game than he has, and I still don't think I'm as good as he was back when he was still playing (on extremes and above at least).
That doesn't mean he's going to beast the new game though. Just saying he's a legend for a reason.
And he's a nice guy... Definitely counts for something!!!
+1 for les
