So I was trying to better my time on flight school today and I ended up getting the same time as another guy. Then I noticed right below me 2 other guys did the same thing.

This is first time I ever tied with someone. I've been a whole second ahead of myself, but I'm going to leave it as it is cause it's crazy random.

Just watched it and I was thinking if I were to copy T4K' run with the phoenix instead of the scorpion I might be able to take number one. It has better acceleration compared to the scorpions higher top speed which you really don't need, because of the Afterburners.

damn maybe it's not so random the top 100 is littered with tied times.
Yes, it's quite common to have tied times, especially on shorter tracks like Middle Name. There was a tied 1st on there once.

thats the same thing that happened to me and one of my friends on dreamscape. when i told him to look at our scores, he said "How the hell did you get the same score as me?"

It would be impossible to take number 1 with the phoenix simply because it doesn't have the speed. When you go down that giant drop the phoenix would get passed by about a half second and keep falling behind all the way until the end. Me and euan were tied for 5th on garbage chute for a while. it was cool cause we were competing on the track at the time.
