Why does my force rotation wheel just stop sometimes
Sometimes it will spin the object slowly like it's supposed to other times it will do a rotation or 2 and then stop. I've noticed this at times with rotation hinges as well. Does it have to do with physics, lighting or object complexity in the area. Any advice is appreciated thx.

The force rotation hinges do act weird when the area is complex, but maybe you have too much weight on it. Try adding a free rotation hinge to hold it up better. Also, make sure the objects that are glued to each side of the hinge are as close as possible (center point for the hinge should be right on top of the center point for the object). I hope that helps. Those force rotation hinges can be a real pain.

Re: Why does my force rotation wheel just stop sometimes
Hey thanks for the tips Warlord, I'll try adding a free rotation hinge. I seem to only have this problem with the slowest force ratation hinge perhaps weight is an issue. BTW, there are three objects glued together, do you usually have all three also glued to the hinge or just the one central piece?

Re: Why does my force rotation wheel just stop sometimes
It was weird rebuilt it from scratch a few times and had the same problem even if I removed all other environmental things and used only the 1 central peice of wood. It worked worse when I had the hinge and dummy snapped to the centre and hidden in the wood. Not exactly sure what I did but it works now. This is why I sort of stopped doing physics tracks but if anybody has other tips let me know!

If I remember correctly, sometimes checking the "animation" box on some of the objects fixed it for me.
I think I had the same problem when I made the water wheel on Boiling Point.
