    Is The Game Infected With A Virus?

    I use Norton Antivirus, and I recently purchased Trials 2: Second Edition. Well, I clicked install, and about 10 seconds in, my Norton detected a virus that said Suspicious.Cloud.2

    It then said "problem fixed" which I thought was good, but then once it was done, I couldn't play it! I either like my money back, or a possible solution to this.

    Thank You.

    no and fail.......

    edit: I'm drunk, but I'll try to help a little. I say a little, because people just don't try hard enough these days to figure things out on their own. Maybe it's your firewall idk.

    Re: Is The Game Infected With A Virus?

    its quite possible that your game got infected later after you download/installed a virus from another software. also it says that the virus does low damage so i dont think its not that big of a deal. You can just uninstall the game and reinstall it, i guess it is fixed then and there wont be any virus anymore

    download: http://download.redlynxtrials.com/do..._installer.exe
    install, type in your license key, Play

    Re: Is The Game Infected With A Virus?

    The simplest solution is almost always the best and killing Norton? Is hard.

    Just add C:\Program Files\Trials 2 Second Edition or C:\Program Files (x86)\Trials 2 Second Edition to your excluded files list, ZIP your Trials 2 directory and email it to Norton saying it's a false positive.

    Or use the Norton Removal Tool to get rid of Norton, restart your PC, delete the Norton folders that are left over and clean your registry and install this firewall and either of these instead:

    Avira Personal (And disable read/execute of avnotify.exe to stop the popups.
    Avast

    Or get Kaspersky.

    Or, alternatively, get a proper OS, like Linux

    Or don't use an antivirus at all and don't download any viruses.

    @stickz027: Sure, Norton uses tons of resources but that's not really the problem here, is it? It's more the fact Norton pwnt a game.

    @CypherDextrous: First-post *****ing threads aren't welcome? He's asking for help. Although this does belong in the support section, but whatever.

    @Kim: wut

    @Symantec: Stop making antiviruses

    @RedLynx: Complain to Symantec about them reporting your software as malware

    Edit: Kaspersky have a Ferrari edition?! What the hell?! XD

    Edit 2: Fixed the (default) install directory location.
