I just now noticed an email I received from Microsoft for 2 free GoW3 beta codes that said I could give them to friends. There's only 2 days left to play the beta as it ends may 15th. Since I love the community here so much I decided to post them here. First come, first serve is the rule I believe. If you redeem one of these codes please post here to let others know that you used it so they don't have to waste their time.

^ np. I personally loved gears 1 I played it non stop from the day I bought it till the day I got 10,000 kills then stopped, but I still go back to it. Gears 2 not so much, because it seemed that the developers changed the multiplayer due to *****ing noobs. I played this G3 beta for about 4 hours or so and it seems they really polished the multiplayer and took the best parts of G1/G2 and mixed them together to make an over all better online experience, but I hate the sawed off.

Same here, played the **** out of Gears1 and got to level 100 in Gears2.

Definitely lookin forward to 3, goin to play the beta all weekend because it ends monday.

This is one of the nicest Betas I have ever been a part of. The sawed off is annoying, but it can be beat. I think lag is a bigger issue.

I remember the Halo 3 Beta. This is much nicer and I wasn't even a fan of Gears of War. I have changed my mind with the time I've spent in the beta and have purchased the Gears Of War Triple Pack and will be getting Gears Of War 3.

The only real problem I have with the Beta is some pretty bad spawning. It seems the game doesn't care if 5 people are standing in a spot. It'll still put you right in front of them. Or spawn the whole opposing team by where you are holding their leader. Other than that, it's all good.

Even though I already slandered it, I liked Gears of War: great new IP, great tension, great enemy. I didn't like Gears of War 2: nothing new, poor pacing, dumb story, shallow characters, poorly designed environments (for single player).
