Haha I'm a noob thought his track was called lumber![]()
Still have to try brainstorm though.
I'm trying to get a decent run on dizziness first. My new best is 44f
All those explosives are killing me man!
Edit: dizziness down to 10faults 02:55.960![]()
Gonna try it a couple times more. And then up a vid of it.
You could try my new track Eden's Halls if you like guys, not sure if it's worthy of a ninja but then again in places it might be, harderned up the first obstacle too so it's made as hard as the others.
got dizziness down to 4faults 02:07.013

I feal like i have the epic rail figured out, having much more trouble with the second half of this track. Still trying to get that 0 fault run.
I played that track when you released it yesterday, and I feel like it's not quite Ninja. It falls into the same category as xPro's Savior or NV ii Alex's Good Bye tracks - it's slightly harder than Extreme, but just not quite Ninja, especially if you take your time. I got only 4 faults my first try on Eden's Halls.Originally Posted by NovaDarkStorm

But it might not be difficult for you.![]()
^^
I may be pretty damn good at trials, but I'm not THAT amazing. If I can get under 10 faults my first try on a track I've never seen or played before I just feel like it can't be Ninja... the only exception to that is if I can tell that I got really lucky in several places, but I don't feel like that's the case with your track - in fact, all my faults were simply from not knowing what was coming next.
erm I don't now why and how I wrotte lumber my tracks is called brainstormOriginally Posted by Lumberjack
Just cause you didn't know what was coming next doesn't mean that the tracks difficulty changes though man. Don't forget you ARE THAT good at Trials compared to alot of people especially on ninja tracks because you've grasped the techniques alot easier than others do.Originally Posted by Malachyte
There are a few people think that the difficulty is Ninja... Even I do. It's easy to 0 fault a track slowly because don't forget you are taking your time.
Messages I have had.
Lumberjack Pep: He got 14 faults on his 2nd try of Eden's Halls.
Blue Mage: Can't get past the mini ninja hook, Felt like I have to do gymnastics...
Nytmair: 22 Faults.
That is an example though but yeah I hope you see where I coming from.
I know, that's exactly what I was saying. I meant that most, if not all of my faults were because I didn't know what was coming, and that this shouldn't be a factor in determining the tracks difficulty. In other words, I would have had even less faults if I was familiar with the track, and that's what should count.Originally Posted by NovaDarkStorm
That statement makes absolutely no sense to me. You're saying that it's easy to 0-fault Ninja tracks if you simply take your time?? I don't think you could find anyone who agrees with that statement. There are like 3 people out there that even bother to try to speed run Ninja tracks. For most of us Ninja riders it's an accomplishment enough to 0-fault them no matter how slowly we do it.Originally Posted by NovaDarkStorm
The whole idea of Ninja tracks is that they have to be very challenging to 0-fault whether you take your time or not. This has been brought up several times before. There are Medium and Hard tracks that require Ninja skills to speed run, but that's not the point.
If you're admitting that your track is easy to 0-fault if you take your time but difficult if you try to get a smooth run that's basically confirming to me that it's not Ninja... just like xPro's Savior it requires Ninja skills to speed-run, but not to 0-fault slowly and consistently.
If I were to add it based on these assumptions then I would have to only accept replays of fast runs because slower runs don't require Ninja skills. To me this means that the track really isn't Ninja at all. To give an extreme example I could create a Beginner track with an insanely difficult platinum time and say it's a Ninja track because it's difficult to do fast, but then I would have to reject replays from anyone who didn't get platinum because they didn't exhibit Ninja skills in their runs.
I've said it before and I'll say it again: In order to qualify as Ninja, a track should require Ninja skills whether you speed run it or not. I don't want to have to start regulating which replays do or do not count for tracks that are only Ninja if you do them fast.
Again though, nothing personal against your track Nova. Eden's Halls is definitely a fun track and I'll probably work on 0-faulting it at some point anyway.![]()
