And finally, even though I ended up passing the full track before uploading this batch of replays, here are MUCH CLEANER replays on the individual obstacles from barikan2's new Level 4 track, Cxr=? 1.1.
It took a LOT of practice to nail some of the longer obstacles without mistakes & recoveries, so check it out!

I haven't spent much time on the Level 5s. I timed out a couple more times on The Hard Way, and decided I'd rather work on zeroing some more Level 1s. So... I decided it's time to go all out and pass The Hard Way no matter how long it takes. I realized that the reason I haven't passed any of the Level 5s is that I spend a few days on one of them, get frustrated, and then go back to zeroing Level 1s, and I don't try again for weeks. Then when I finally try again all my muscle memory is gone. I know that sugatin was able to pass The Beyond NJ simply because he played it constantly every day for an entire week after TBN released it. As tedious as it sounds, I know this is the way to go if I am serious about passing the Level 5s.
So today I started playing The Hard Way over and over and over and over. Every time I turn on Trials I will play The Hard Way until I've passed it. No other tracks.
And guess what? My persistence is already paying off! For the first time EVAR I passed the 5th obstacle in a real run! Unfortunately I did so with only 8 minutes remaining. I spent 5 minutes passing obstacle #6, and then timed out on #7.
Yes, this was very frustrating, but it also helped me realize that it's definitely within my skill level to pass this track. Actually passing the 5th obstacle in a real run changed my perspective from "ugh, this is impossible, I'll never do it" to "holy crap I think I can actually pass this!"

Nope! As a matter of fact, today was my most epic Trials day in a very long time. First try of the day on The Hard Way I passed it... and got first place! Then I went on to 0-fault EIGHT Level 1 tracks (all by OpossumBlase). Oh, and I didn't just sit around and play Trials all day. I played a full 18 holes of disc golf with a friend, went out to dinner, played some multiplayer games with said friend, watched him play Trials for quite a bit, watched some Netflix, etc. etc.
I have no idea how I managed to accomplish so much in one day, but it was ******* awesome. I have four more OpossumBlase Level 1s to zero, and then I'm going to work on Pyyheliina's Challenge. Seeing as my approach of play-no-other-tracks-'till-I-pass-it worked so well for The Hard Way I will definitely do the same for Challenge and eventually The Beyond NJ when I get to it.
