As before, I'll ask others to chime in at this point since it's really just your vote against mine. One more vote for Level 2 and I'll happily move it. Anyone else wanna give it a try and chime in?
1st run 64 faults Id say level 2 as well

    Re: Ninja Track Video Leaderboard

It's been a while since I've seriously played any ninja tracks, so I figured I'd take it easy.

It's certainly not impossible - I've already passed all the obstacles.

To be perfectly honest I'm really on the fence between a hard Level 4 (like Plumber or Sephiroth) and an easy Level 5 (like The Hard Way). I've love to get some more input. Here's a more detailed break-down of each obstacle for those interested:

#1: Easy. Passed for the first in less than 5 minutes. Passed three more times within another 5 minutes. However, it involves the back-wheelie-up-a-hill technique, which The Beyond NJ forced me to get VERY good at... even so, I'd rate it as a Level 2 obstacle.

#2: Really hard. took around 45 minutes to pass for the first time, and another half hour to pass again. My second pass was really ugly too... lots of fumbling around and recovering. I'd rate this as an easier Level 5 obstacle.

#3: Very fun obstacle in my opinion. Took me over half an hour to figure out what the hell I was supposed to do, but once I figured it out it only took me 10-15 minutes to pass. I then passed it another three times which took around 5-10 minutes each. Puzzle aspect aside, it felt like a Level 3 obstacle to me. However, it involves another strange technique which I feel is one of my strong points in Trials. I'm not going to say which technique because half the fun of this obstacle is figuring it out. Anyway, others may find it harder than I did.

#4: Steep awkward hill-climb obstacle. Involves a technique similar to the one used for the first obstacle in xXxPantzxXx's track, Insane Trial, only much harder. Took me around 10 minutes to pass the first time, and about another 10 for my 2nd pass... so no improvement. I'd rate this as a hard Level 3 obstacle.

#5: Simple, straight-forward back-wheel bounce. Similar to the one from WILLYUMZ's track Nibiru, only slightly harder. Took me around 15 minutes to pass... and maybe 10 minutes or so for my 2nd pass. I'd rate this as a hard Level 3 or easy Level 4 obstacle.

#6: Took only 10 minutes or so to pass the first time, but then took over half an hour for my 2nd pass... so I guess that I got lucky on my first pass. Even after watching my replay and trying to replicate my technique it STILL took half an hour to pass it again, so in the end I concluded this one to be a solid Level 4 obstacle.

#7: Like #3, it took a good amount of time to find the right technique for this unique obstacle, maybe 20 minutes or so. After figuring out a good technique it still took about 20 minutes to pass. However after my first pass, I managed to pass it like 10 more times within 20 minutes... so it really felt like Level 4 at first, but after nailing it a single time it seemed to become much easier...

#8: This is basically an exact replica of Monstified's single-obstacle track "Reinvented". I really struggled with that one a lot back when he released it... I think it took me over two hours to pass. Even after studying my replay on it and trying to replicate the technique to pass this final obstacle in this track, it still took me over an hour... I'd rate this as a HARD Level 5 obstacle... however I feel like this technique is one of my weak points, so others may find it easier.

    IN CONCLUSION:

Up until the 8th obstacle I was really leaning towards Level 4... but having a ridiculous obstacle like that at the END of the track really makes the full track a LOT harder to pass... making me think it might be an easier Level 5.

Monstified - I know you were going for Level 5, and I hate to potentially disappoint you... but it's really border-line. Let's get opinions from a few others and see what they think. I've sent a message to TBNSoty and sugatin on XBL, and anyone here who'd like to try it please go ahead and let me know your thoughts! I just want to get it rated accurately.

Heh, it makes me sad that you rate the back wheelie up the ramp/hill technique as an N2 technique. I can't even do it a single time! Was there ever any technically discussion regarding this technique anywhere?

    Re: Ninja Track Video Leaderboard

First try on the full track after my post above, I made it all the way to the last obstacle before timing out... I think I gotta give this Level 4. Honestly it's much easier than the three existing Level 5s.

The back wheel technique is a bit hard to pick up if you've never tried it, but once you're familiar with it it becomes really easy. I can pass the first obstacle like 1/3 times now.

EDIT: 2nd try I made it to the last obstacle again in only 150-ish faults with 15 minutes left. Timed out again. This is really no different than Plumber's obstacle #6... Much harder than the rest of the track, but if you learn the rest and keep trying you'll pass the hard obstacle eventually... Same with Sephiroth's #3.

MORE EDIT: Timed out 4 times on the last obstacle now. On one run I made it to the 6th obstacle with only 30 faults! I need a break for now... Really hate that last obstacle. But I'll come back soon and pass the full track.

    Re: Ninja Track Video Leaderboard

I got to the top of the backward wheelie climb and still could not make the next jump 4 different times because of the damn camera placement. That really needs to be adjusted because it might as well be luck makin that jump.
