    Re: Ninja Track Video Leaderboard

    ^^

Well I wanted to be "professional" and not name any names, but you are absolutely right - it was Baaha Waha, but not Box Affair.

    Here's what I think happened:

He submitted Box Affair, telling me it was insanely difficult but that all the obstacles were possible, and that it may just be the next Level 5.

I proceeded to pass it first try (in about 25 minutes) and rate it as Level 3 because I typically time out three or more times for Level 4s, and I can't pass a full Level 5 track at all...

I'm guessing he wasn't happy about the "low" rating considering he was going for Level 5, because the next day I had a message from him saying he had made me a "tribute track" called Green Ninja.

The first obstacle in this track was basically a rip off of the 8th obstacle in Pyyheliina's Level 5 track, Challenge, except with an extra concrete pipe to get over. I wasted about 45 minutes trying it before asking him if he had even tested it. Of course he said "I made it over the 3rd pipe once and then fell down. I'm not sure if it's possible or not."

    UGH.

But he hasn't been the only offender recently. "fear1of3nothing" submitted two tracks that I was never able to pass, and I finally concluded that they were impossible too - he never even replied to my messages asking him if he had properly tested, etc. This wasn't as surprising to me since I had never heard of fear1of3nothing before. But Baaha Waha already has a handful of legitimate and passable Ninja tracks on here, so I figured he knew what he was doing... guess I was wrong.

I tried adding fear1of3nothing. He never responded to messages or added me.

So who exactly comes up with these pending submissions? Cause if its you Malachyte then you can control them, obviously.

I mean if they are confirmed ninja tracks, the only way for them to be confirmed is if you judged them. Am i wrong? Cause i sound logical to myself

I did beat the obstacle after about 30 minutes though but then gave up because the tracks just had more obstacles that he didnt beat. So i wouldn't Post anything of his in the leader boards at this point, because he doesnt test his tracks, and make sure there possible.
Even im not dumb enough to post a track that I cant pass

Although my runs on my wheelie tracks are god awfulXD

Well yea, obviously I control them since I'm the only one who can modify the post that contains them...

Basically people will send me XBL messages saying they have a new Ninja track, then I'll test it to determine first of all if it even qualifies as Ninja or if it's just Extreme, and if it qualifies what Level of Ninja it is. I don't mind doing this at all - the only thing I mind is when people submit tracks they haven't properly tested.

Having the pending submissions helps me get ahead so I already have tracks tested and rated before anyone uploads replays. That way when people start uploading replays I can add them right away.

Before I added the Pending Submissions section I would have to keep track of who had uploaded replays for tracks I hadn't rated yet, and that got kind of annoying. I think the Pending Submissions section is helpful for me to stay caught up on new tracks, and it's helpful for other players to see what Ninja tracks are out there without any replays.

Thanks Zoidberg! FYI - I have already recorded my first-try runs on a bunch of the pending submissions and am in the middle of editing them right now. A few new ones have been added since I recorded this batch of replays, so it would be more helpful if you uploaded your runs on these, but of course it's your choice which ones you want to do.

Here are the ones I don't have replays recorded for:

    Level 1:

    AntnG - Toadliquor
OpossumBlase - Da Boys Are Back

    Level 2:

    Baaha Waha - Baaha Resort

    Level 3:

    Baaha Waha - Box Affair

Don't worry, I have verified that they are all passable including the Baaha Waha ones. I just haven't recorded my replays on these yet.

    Cheers!

    Re: Ninja Track Video Leaderboard

When you think of it, it isnt that hard to test them ninja lvl 1-3s, but a person who doesnt know **** about track making and testing, can easily make a track and call it a ninja, just because its ******ed, theres no checkpoints, and its laggy as ****. This happened when i was passing bacon by Xx 3NIGMA xX, that track, and all his others are just ******ed. if you cant test a track, dont post it, get good at the game, and then start building. thats what i did, and im doing pretty good.

(not trying to troll people, just joining the discussion.)

I'll admit it, the distance of the first CP had me rage quit my first session at it. Looking forward to a replay to see if I was trying the wrong techniques or just suck at the ones I was trying... lol
i made it through this track with 3 faults. Once you figure out the first obstacle it becomes quite easy to pass. I had most trouble with the 3rd obstacle: making it over those 3 big pipes, its the only spot im faulting on on this track.

    -BD-Superior
Nice run! X8: the first obstacle is really long, yes, but Kobe: you actually used a technique that i feared of people using. the barrels at the 1st obstacle arent meant to bounce on top of em, but you needed to barrel hook, and do some weird ****.... im building a track right now, thats kinda same, but HARDER
In the new one, you have to do it the way i meant it to be played.
