Agreed. Dont want to name anybody on here, and i know i made 3 ninja tracks myself so i may sound like a hypocrite, but i feel probably half of the creators on here make tracks that are just random crap slapped together half tested and maybe not even sure if its possible. Then they call it a ninja and it gets up here.Originally Posted by snipen108
Theres so many obstacles that are stupid hard. They arent even hard because they require skill, but they are hard because they are poorly made. They arent coordinated correctly or the objects are laid out in awkward ways.
Like i said i dont want to name any names or really get too into this discussion, but i just feel so many of these tracks shouldnt even be on here
... once I test it to make sure it's possible. Trust me, there are no impossible tracks on this leaderboard. I have passed every single one of them, whether they are well made or poorly made... with the exception of the two Level 5 tracks, but I have passed the individual obstacles in those.Originally Posted by xPrOFeSsi0NaL
Also, the thought has crossed my mind many times to only accept "good" Ninja tracks. After all, it would make the leaderboard less cluttered with crap, etc. However this is very subjective, and I didn't feel right about playing god with which tracks were accepted and which weren't. There may be tracks that seem like they are ******ed to me, but then other people may end up really enjoying them, and vice versa.
Therefore I decided to only judge tracks for their difficulty, not their quality.
I understand you Malachyte. Your doing the right thing.Originally Posted by Malachyte
I personally dont focus on decor when im riding a ninja. Yes you have to make good lines, and tracks like Ultimate Wheelie and Insane wheelie were poorly made first attempts that ended up being ninja, and I admit they are not good tracks. That being said, I still find them fun to ride, and even some of the ones I think dont have the greatest lines, can still be fun. That is the great thing about ninjas, everyone enjoys them for one reason or another. Malachyte is indeed doing the right thing.
I see what you guys are saying, and mostly agree with you. Thing is, no track makers claim to be professionals, and none of us get paid or anything. Its for fun. We put our tracks out there and if you like them, you play them. If not, play a different one. No need to look down on anyone for playing a bit with the editor.Originally Posted by xPrOFeSsi0NaL
Very well put. I've made about fifty tracks and can only think of about 5 that were even decent. But it was still fun to make them, and you dont get any better without practicing anyway.Originally Posted by jook13
