jook, Murdoc, Jarr3tt, Qc, and myself all use the same capture card - the Hauppauge 1212.
It's kinda pricey, but it does a great job. It's even more overpriced on Amazon, but I'm sure there are better deals out there. I remember paying around $180 for mine.
