The ones that have been recommended to you so far are definitely great Ninja tracks, but it seems to me that they were chosen more because they are some of the most well thought-out ones; not necessarily the easiest ones. (Not that there is such a thing as an "easy" Ninja track - it's all relative).

36 Chambers is a tougher Level 1, but a lot of fun.

Citadel is an average Level 1 - probably a good one to start with. It's also a lot of fun; one of my favorite Ninja tracks.

YSNP has a couple insane obstacles at the beginning, but then gets a bit easier, still not sure if I'd recommend this as a starting point for a "Ninja n00b".

Superhuman is tough. I love the track, but honestly I would work my way up a bit before trying this one.

False Pretenses - same thing. My advice is to try some easier tracks first.

The Flip Side - once again, work your way up a bit before trying this one.

Bomb Defuser is a great Level 1 track with some unique obstacles. This would be a good one to start with too.

Hellzone is yet another great track, but I wouldn't recommend starting with it - it's pretty tough.

Finally, here are some of my own recommendations:

    jhop420 - Corporate Ladder
    Kyoshi Yozima - Fort Visceral
    Murdoc Loch - Broken English
    PuolukkaRasisti - Walkout
QcChopper - Pure Trials 01 through 05 (06 is much harder).
    RedRider686 - Inferno I

To Murdoc & DonRene - I'm not trying to criticize your selection; just offering my own perspective. Obviously we all have different strong and weak points in Trials, so what's tough for me might not be for you, and vice versa.

Finally, I haven't forgotten about the new tracks - DEADPH1SH is on my friends list, but isn't currently sharing Contagious or Felony. I've sent him a message, but no reply yet. GENERAL RAM's Friend List if full, so I've sent him a message.

Sorry to be so anal about this, but I'm trying to make it a habit to play tracks myself to judge their Level rather than just judging them from replays - great players like Murdoc just make anything look easy. My feeling though is that both DEADPH1SH tracks look like Level 2s and Steelwork looks like a Level 1.

I added this to the leaderboards, and btw, I've got an HD replay of a 0-fault run on this track coming soon too. Got it last night. (Although my run is INCREDIBLY slow compared to all three of the runs currently on the leaderboards...)

Now I'm down to The End by B0R15 0 BR13N & both the Zoidberg tracks... and the GENERAL RAM track if that gets added to Level 1, which it seems like it will. You guys are adding tracks so fast I can't keep up!!!

He didn't ask for the easiest ones he asked for:

Thanks for adding the new ones malachyte - I agree with you about steelwork and contagious but felony is much harder than contagious or superhuman or any other level 2 - My vote is level 3 - not as tough as am-2/3, more like a lower level level 3 like djuno and ambidextrous

    -ML

P.S. - Djuno has all of a sudden become an offensive word according to XBL so I had to rename it Juno to be able to upload it

Fair enough, that makes sense - I guess I just skimmed over his question and totally missed the point of what he was asking for... Anyway, now he has recommendations from three different people so he can mix and match as he desires.

I actually haven't added them quite yet as I'd like to play them myself before I do... but I'll keep your opinions in mind! Another Level 3 would be awesome; there hasn't been a new one in quite some time now.

lolwhat? What does Djuno mean anyway? BTW, I really love this track, and I'm looking forward to working on it once I get to Level 3's... although that might be a while at the rate new tracks are getting added these days!

Felony is dated October 26th, 2010 so it's not exactly a new one

Djuno was the name of a band one of my friends used to be in. I just liked the word and needed a name.

Ah, well... new to these Video Leaderboards anyway.

Nice, I like the name a lot more than Juno, which just makes me think of either the movie Juno or the group/band - Juno Reactor (awesome group btw.)

Speaking of names, you said you were working on another Level 4 track right? You could call it Cmd-Opt-Esc which is the Mac equivalent of Ctrl-Alt-Delete in Windows.

or call it Middle Name: Slightly More Dangerous.

edit: just finished am2, first time ive played it properly (had the patience to pass the first obstacle) and my verdict is that its much easier than am3.
first proper playthrough on am2 i had 172 faults, 13 mins. first proper playthrough on am3 i had just over 300 faults and was 30secs from an epic fail. lowercase inbetween the two.

ill finish treetops soon and attempt ctrl-alt-del and see how they compare in my opinion.

Cool, I'm really curious to hear what you think. It took me 5 or 6 tries (running out of time rather than faults) to finish Treetops, and I haven't yet tried Ctrl-Alt-Delete at all.

As soon as I've completed my goal of 0-faulting every Level 1 track I'm gonna try to pass Ctrl-Alt-Delete too. I just got The End so all I have left now are the Zoidberg tracks and the GENERAL RAM track... once I get my hands on it. (His FL is full and he still hasn't responded to my message.)

That would be funny. I think you should do just that on your next ninja.

Anyway i got to the 3rd cp on C-A-D with 200 faults and had difficulty passin that because of the lag in that area where you jump over 10 barrels before a wall with dynamite on top. Seems like everytime i hit that tnt box it would lag when i press B. But if i mess up and press B before i hit anythin it doesnt lag...weird. And on my 499th attempt i finally make it over that wall and crash into the ground right after the 4th cp. At least im making progress.
