I don't mean to be a kill joy, but I don't see MK9 as all that relevant in today's market. 10-something years ago I enjoyed playing MK3, but now, yeah, the game has progressed like... nil. At first I thought the fatalities were pretty cool, but now I think the masochistic fascination people have in the fatalities is well... lame.
I really hope they release a demo for this game, If I had enough money I would have bought this game over portal 2 in a second.

So far this game is beastly BEASTLY!
Haven't played online yet and trying to figure out who I'm going to main. I always was a SubZero guy, but smoke looks like tons of fun. Scorpion and Cage seems broken as well.
