    Hmm but I thought those gradually slowed it down until it stopped? I guess I've never used one but thats what the description sounds like.

    But either way, once it gets the momentum it needs (which only takes like 2-3 seconds) its going at the perfect pace, so I don't think want to mess with it and screw it up.

    All they do is reduce the rotation incrementally, ie. the more you add the more it slows down.
    If you got it working perfect now then obviously don't mess with it
    It's just something to bear in mind for the future if you feel something is rotating at the wrong speed.
    I haven't been in the editor for a while but if my memory serves me right, the further away from the rotation point the damper is placed, the more of an effect it has.
