The Potential Future of Trials - A Collection of Dev Quotes

Hey guys I just wanted to compile a list of details RedLynx has divulged about the future of Trials. If you'd like to add to the list please provide a source link and not just "didn't someone say?" type statements.
Also please refrain from posting hopeful suggestions - there is plenty of other threads to deal with those types of posts

Here's some good reading that suggests RedLynx has multiplayer on their minds (1, 2, 3)

(note - sebbbi refers to the future trails game as "the sequel" possibly a sign that "Trials HD 2" is next as apposed to trials 3)

Rider gamertags should float on the top of the player bikes. It would be really interesting to see where all the top players gain their fractions of seconds, and were they lose them compared to the other top players. This feature would also be perfect for making youtube "X vs Y" videos.

Players are often removing all the room blocks or building some objects in front of the walls to hide them. I really doubt the current room system will be used in any future games.

    - Out Of The Pit
Sebbbi posted "out of the pit" in the toughest track in trials history thread (source) - Since there is no track named "out of the pit" in trials history we should assume that this is a new track presumably harder than YSNP and any other redlynx tracks before. Arguably, this could be a track from another as of yet announced Trials HD DLC, however there is reason to believe Trials HD will not get any more DLC. (source)

Good thread. Here's something I remember:

That is where my mind went too

Another Trials Construction Yard game would be great!

However "out of the pit" is not an obvious enough title to say it's a sequel for sure.

Either way I'm overjoyed at the thought of having a YSNP killer in the next game!
