It was hell pro. I've never seen anyone 360 flip over the tnt box before. I can see every extreme crumbling before you, one by one

I finally platinumed the first two tournaments from Big Pack. I used to have a nightmare getting the right time, but now I breezed through em with no sweat (and no pulse).

I managed to get my first extreme plats. Brown Boxes and Groundhog forever. I'm one fault away from the plat on inferno 2. (stupid pipes). I also got 3rd on Hello World. My first top 5!

How do you get a top 3 on a beginner track and not even plat Inferno 2? The skill difference there just amazes me.

Picked up Trials again today and managed under a minute on Inferno II. Got around 109th place, check it out!

Generally being good at a track like Hello World! will rely on your skills learned from playing racing games. Racing games require an immense amount of criticalness and Hello World! is the most critical track in the game. It's all about knowing how to build up speed on seemingly flat surfaces.

On the other hand, extreme track records as of now require no where near the same amount of criticalness. You don't have to worry about nit-picky textures as much but the obstacles themselves require a lot of technique. The more difficult the track, the less critical you have to be.

The techniques for building up speed and simply passing an obstacle are in two different fields. This is why I think the easiest tracks to play are beginners and ninjas. Both focus on one particular style of gameplay. The tracks in between are the most difficult since it requires a combination of the two different playing styles.

I spend a lot more time on the beginner tracks than any of the other difficulties. I've been working my way up the difficulties trying for platinums. I currently have 95. Im starting to get more consistent on the extremes, but instead of getting frustrated, I just go back to the beginners and try to shave a few milliseconds off here and there. I think some of you top riders forget what its like to not be able to rip through the extremes without a fuss. Ill get there.....eventually........i hope.

Any other beginner track lovers out there?
