I'v seen alot of videos lately, and i seen a few where some ppl have made Ramps move upwards closeing of sections of where you are riding (By triggers i assume) But i cannot for the life of god figure out how to make the pullies to make my ramp (and doors) swosh upwards as i pass by my triggers ;-(
Tried with Point to points, tried with anti gravity, and ofcause the free rotation hinge, heck even tried building it with wind
If anyone know how to, i would be very thankful, my GT is Bendath on xbox so if you could add me there and explain (Or youtube me a vid about it) i'd be in your debt
i'll try to find some tutorials or something, but if you have either of the DLCs, you can use a piston object (3rd to last object menu in the editor, i believe), and you can push a beam or ramp up.
Another way to make ramps/walls/doors/etc go up is to glue them to a turbine. Place the turbine somewhat high above your "wall", out of view of the player. Put your trigger where needed so you trigger physics on the wall. The turbine should have physics and animation enabled, the wall should have nothing enabled.
If you want to make the wall go up but then stop, place another trigger (linked to the wall, with nothing enabled) higher up above the turbine, so when it flies up it passes through this trigger, which will disable physics on your wall and make it stop in place. It will take some trial and error to get your wall to stop where you want it.
Hope that makes sense.
your you can just get off your bike and lift it up. its not hard cuz i do it all the time
