Anyone else watching the coverage? 8.9 Earthquake (Worst since records began in Japan), and in turn that created a tsunami with has hit north-east Japan.

Death Toll is believed to reach 1000.

Scary is right. My sister is over there on a navy base and she's ok thank God. Her husband was supposed to play a show tonight with a 70's funk band Tower of Power but that's cancelled now.

There's a couple Japanese trials riders, i hope they're ok.

I read an interesting article about how on March 19th the moon will be closer to the earth than it's been in a long time and the fact that it will be a full moon has some ppl worried about more catastrophes due to gravitational effects.

can someone keep this thread updated too? I don't watch News (usually), and I havn't checked anything about the earthquake for about 4 hours. I did read on someones status on Facebook;

"Nuclear leakage in japan after 14 hours of earthquakes. Potential meltdown? I hope not."
