The rep system on Xbox LIVE is horrible. My summary:

70% Avoided

- 14% Trash Talk

- 5% Language

- 2% Disruptive

- 6% Aggressive

- 29% Unsporting

- 19% Quit Early

I find this very comical since I almost never step foot into a multiplayer game and when I do I am ALWAYS in an Xbox LIVE party. Which means at least 81% of these reviews are purely out of other player's jealousy.

I never quit from any games no matter what. Many players including myself lose connection to Xbox LIVE every now and then which makes this another pointless part of an already pointless rep system.

What's your guys avoided percentage? Oops I mean what is the percentage of players that envy you?

15% preferred (mainly friends)

over 50% avoided is from unsporting conduct aka kickin ***.

I wouldnt worry too much bout this as nothin comes out of it, unless someone files a bullsh*t complaint on you, but then again itd have to take alot of those for MS to do a review.

Microsoft investigates every complaint they receive, but since each complaint is reviewed by an actual person, not much happens with most of them.

Person A spouts off racist comments.
Person B reports them.
MS PET person reviews complaint(s) then checks out Person A's complaint file.
Person A is Voice Banned for 7 days.

It takes a LOT for someone to get banned from Xbox Live.

Your rep doesn't mean anything, as there is NO way that everyone you play with either Recommends or Avoids you.

Microsoft admitted that the system was flawed back in 04 or 05.

i got owned hard when I was playing fighting games. Since I don't play using their honor code.

Tick throws with Balrog on SF2T, mad juggles on BlazBlue with Arakune you name it. Even on SSF4 which I suck on that game got my rep to go up and up and away!!!

now I agree with trash talk and language... I do get carried away with a drink.. unsporting is just not me..
And 30% quit early... utter ****e.. I'm an Englishman and a proud one. I never quit games.. never.. its the way I am.. who knows. You could still win ..

I got banned a few months ago for "cheating" on Middle Name: Danger...

I appealed it though and was unbanned the next day.

I think it's like 40% unsuporting, aka kicking their *** in a FPS and then out of jealousy they can only think to pick that.

Same here! I have no idea i have like 15% of it from trash talking, ive never used a mic ever since Xbox Live.
