all depends on gameplay for me though, im hoping for first-person but not necessarily guns all the way thru. does anyone know yet? dead rising style doesnt do it for me and left 4 dead is good but too far the other way. needs to be slower, more tense.

Damn, saw that yesterday and... mind blown. It must have been 3 years ago, when i signed up for this game's newsletter. Not much happened after and i considered it dead. So glad it isn't.

For people asking what it is about...
It is first person, at least it was back then. As for its gameplay, it's going to be a sandbox game, open island, go where you want etc. It's based more on melee fighting and generally fighting with stuff you can find around. They said they aim for a more realistic approach about weapons, so you will find different melee weapons where you normally would and firearms are really rare, their ammo even more. There are some rpg elements too, skills etc, i guess pretty basic stuff. Also weapons will degrade in some way and you will need to repair them or look for new ones. Plus, it will feature coop mode, in the form of drop in/drop out, something like Borderlands did.
