Undecided about this one. I've gotten BlueMages opinion on it, he gave it an 8 out of 10. I might get it but I was just hoping for some more people here who've played it, to give me some more feedback/reviews.

I never played the first, but heard good things. I love the free roam aspect and the customisation. The graphics aren't ground-breaking but I don't care too much, the only thing that concerns me is all the complaints of the handling...

since it isnt released till tomorrow here in england, i'll give it a good play over the weekend and give you some feedback.

if TDU1 is anything to go by, the physics will be just fine. it wont be FM3, but it certainly wont be as bad as GTA or just cause for driving

ive only played the game for an hour, but its enough to give me some first impressions:

physics: poor
to be honest this TDU is struggling to keep up with GTA4 for driving physics. i dont know if i have just been spoilt by forza 3, but the physics feel much worse than TDU1. i instantly turned all the assists off "for that simulation feel," but it felt like a simulator from the 90's. i cant say a single good thing about them

graphics: good
considering the amount in this game, the graphics are amazing. the scenery is just stunning.

at first i thought the graphics for the cars were bad, but it seems that its just a few that are affected. it seems the graphics engine they use for the cars doesnt cope with more square cars very well. the alfa brera looks just fine, but the lancia delta looks a few years out of date graphics wise

gameplay: great
as promised, there is an amazing amount of road, and the number of events looks to be quite high. there is also incentive to just cruise around, as you can get small rewards from skillful driving, which should make those cruises much more fun. ive not got very far into the game, but it is looking like it will be much more fun than TDU1 to get through the single player career.


unfortunaltly there is a problem with the game that is stopping some people (me and hobgoblin to name 2) from playing this online, so i cant give you any feedback on it.

overall, i would say its not what its been hyped up to be, but its still a good game

Hey, it came this morning and I turned it on and it wouldn't load after I clicked new game, I was about to give up and turn off my xbox (Returning to Amazon too, which takes days)

And so, I load up my laptop purely to press this dire situations button, in preperation for the long return process, and while I was at I decided to do alittle research.
Turns out It's something to do with their servers, probably overloaded. So you have to diconnect just to get into the game, then once you get to play you can reconnect and you'll be able to play online, so try that Reaper!

At first I was abit iffy with the gameplay and graphics, but now I'm loving it. Off-Road is defianetly alot more fun that asphault racing, the views on this game are simply beautiful, driving around the island is a treat.

Races are alittle repetitive, but hey that's impossible to stop in racing games, because all you can really do is....race.

Now, the handling at first was unbearable, I was literally spinning around trying to go in a straight liine, I think it was because I messed with the settings lol. Now I'm perfectly fine with the handling of the cars, it just takes alittle getting used too.

Overall I'm really starting to enjoy it, I'm about 3 or 4 hours in and I've only done a few races, cruising is just too fun!

Sweet starting collection, the duel cars are so disgusting it makes me want to stab myself in the eyes, especially Miami's Pink Mustang. You can't sell them either, hopefully they'll add the ability in an update lol.

I can't really list my collection because I have about 20, I think I'll make a video showcasing them tomorrow. The majjority of my favourite cars are white, and convertible lol. I just enjoy cruising around in convertibles, especially the ones where you can put the roof up when it rains.
