I remember when I played Trials for the first time ever.
I remember when I struggled to pass Inferno II for the first time ever.
I remember when I nearly cried during Goin' Up.
I remember when I saw almightydave 0 fault Inferno II.
Those were the good ol' days...
But now it's just not the same. I hope the physics engine in the next Trials is altered quite drastically so that I can experience this joy of being a newbie all over again.
If not for anything else, I'll be getting the next Trials the second it comes out just so I can hopefully experience this feeling all over again.
Anyone else think Trials or just games in general are more fun when you are a newbie?
yea defo mate! i still really enjoy the game but it's at the point now i HAVE to get plats and faster runs to get higher in the LB and to be fair, i dont know how i managed to get some of those runs i have! i have been on 1 fault and FASTER then plat time on Inferno II for quite a while now... and its going to take a beasty run to get plat!
I know a lot of things that are more fun when you're a newbie

i disagree, i hate playing online multiplayers for the first time when everyone else has played for years, and i get destroyed

I feel the opposite. When I first play a game, yeah it is fun and exciting, but I honestly enjoy trials so much more now that I am getting decent enough to get platinums, and pull off some (what I think are) impressive runs.

Shavin off milliseconds here and there wears out pretty quickly, for me at least. I miss the good ol days, now im at the point where i no longer use the RT for gas, i just hold down A and focus on the controls.
