TrialsHD.net Season 3? | Forums

This is a question I've been wanting to bring up for a while now. Mainly aimed at GameScrub in particular. Will there be a Season 3 on trialsHD.net? And if so when? I'm really curious to know what others think about this also. I have seen a number of threads over the past while where people have been saying trials is dying and it's annoying with all the multi-accounts. So I felt that Season 3 would be a good idea for everyone. I put a poll in so vote if you think it's a good idea or not. I also feel that competition would maybe regain riders attention that may be losing interest in the game. I'm hoping that If enough of the community vote yes then GameScrub may go ahead with it.

I know that Season 2 really wore on Scrub, what with the time he needs to devote to his real job, his family, and other games he wants to play being taken over by working on all of the Season 2 stats and scores.

He doesn't really have some program to just enter that stuff in automatically, so he did all the figures and updates for each track by hand.

It a huge effort for him, and I'll be glad to help with a Third Season if he wants to do one, but I don't think he'll be starting one up in the next few weeks at least.

There have been other updates to the site, and there are more coming, and I may be the only one who really notices them, but I am grateful that he's doing these current projects.

There are some contests to keep your eyes on, and some even larger ones to be announced in the future.

We'll all have to wait and see if Season 3 happens sooner rather than later.

I would like to see it happen. I tried to get into season 2 but didn't really have the time then.

Same with me Mung. When I first found out about trialshd.net Season 2 was almost done. I think Season 3 would be a great way to amuse and entertain everyone.

The reason I joined this community is because of Dosto's Plyturd track.

It's alot better than I thought.

haha Shifty I don't do anything by hand, everything is database driven even calculating scores and displaying all that stuff. I did hardcode some stuff cuz I was too lazy to write the code to do it.

As far as season 3 goes, it all depends on interest really. I still have Gold, Silver and Bronze medals I can give away, but there was too much drama last season that makes me want to hold off on this.

I usually have it around summer so we will see if people are interested we can do one early.

Cool, but even looking at the pool Scrub, No-one has said no yet. And Im sure everyone who took part last time would do it again. I think it's definitely something to consider.
