so, after i got tired of 80hrs of rapid A pressing on FF13 (one of the shattiest FFs ever) i looked up on the internet how to mod it. theres this program that opens the 360 datafile to get the ff13 save and mod it then resaves it in the encrypted 360 data file.
i find it kinda irritating to add or message all these track makers, then get only 7 of there tracks. either re-add to get more or wait till they switch sets ect ect.. over and over.
i was wondering if there was a way to get the track out of the 360 data, upload it for download via interwebz then have the downloader use the same concept to place it into theyre 360 data file, place into xbox and volia. tracks.
im not quite sure if i missed a step or explained it wrong but im curious to know if this is possible because even though it seems like a process, it could make map sharing much easier, free up peoples friends list ect.. and all it would take is a USB![]()
If all it takes is a USB, and it's not "illegal" in the world of xboxdon't want to get banned from live), and if the dev's wouldn't castrate us for doing it, I might be interested. I think you may get a lot of hate on this just in my opinion, but I guess we shall wait for more replies

im not enforcing it. i just think its a great idea and something i think should be at least slightly considered. i hope i dont get hate. its not like im making a program to do this, i just think its possible to do. on the other hand, if i get hate for ff13, well that game sucks *** anyway.

Viewing or modifying data from the Xbox 360 on your PC is considered reverse engineering, and is against the Microsoft Terms of Service.
You can get console banned for this. You PROBABLY won't. But you can.
Modifying game saves and using them on your Xbox 360 is also considered cheating, and can result in a Gamertag ban, deletion of Gamerscore, and/or a console ban as well.
If it's worth it to you guys to risk losing your tags and your consoles, then go for it I guess.
yeah i wouldnt try it.. just message the creator to rotate tracks, most will
ehhh. i kinda figured.. i thought i should bring it up anyway though.![]()
Oh its possible, all you would need is a resigner and a transfer datel kit. There are many of these floatin around the interwebz, if you can find em. All it would take is the creator to upload his tracks on a hosting site, and anyone could download them, resign them and voila, they would work. Yes i am aware this is against MS's terms of service but i could see it savin alot of hassle around here. Microsoft will not ban for this kind of activity, simply because they dont detect your game save data. Take it from someone who used to be in the moddin scene alot, ahha.
