Could just imagine that, a head to head competing in the True Skill Level
One table on the screen, red lights indicating the player is not ready, green to give the go, Could end up in a 8 player lobby and fastest time wins, least faults, not one player is going to win all the time are they, Vote to skip on what tracks that come up...
Lobby:
(names) Unfair Bombardment []
(names) RAM IT DOWN []
(names) Inferno II []
(names) Middle Name: "Danger" []
(names) Random []

Skill Level Determines on Wins, Losses, Even Draws could happen but very unlikely.
Points, XP? Online Leaderboard times rather than the singleplayer competing board.
Custom colours could be implemented for Chrome Bikes, what colours have to be bought for the standard proceedure.
Man i'd hate to get into a lobby with the best guys... hahahaha.
Edit: And even tracks you don't get in the single player, so online playlists can have different tracks so people will mess up and have to learn online capabilities, but then there could be disadvanatages to that.
Also a storefront like Forza 3 where you can basically download peoples tracks without having to be their friends would be a cool implement too.
here we go with the multiplayer thing again. I dont want it.![]()
It would bring the community closer.Originally Posted by jook13
And besides what I stated means that wouldn't have to go online with people to compete if the leaderboards if there is an online lobby leaderboard and offline where you can keep pressing back to try again, there are no try agains in online lobbys.
The average player will crash dozens of times while trying to 0 fault a track like king of the hill. And that is trying to be careful, not in a racing environment. I am guessing that the deciding factor in 90% or more of the races would be fault count, not how fast you ride.
Trials is all about the leaderboards. The top of an online leaderboard would be flooded with non-skilled people with all the time in the world to grind away at the game.
The matches would be one sided 99% of the time. I am ranked in the top 100. I am pretty damn good at the game. But if I was matched against someone like Redrider or slinky.... I wouldnt have a chance. Taking 2 people from the top .0001% still wouldnt be an even match more often than not.
Some games have multiplayer and it works... It fits the game style. I honestly believe that multiplayer wouldnt work well within trials. I think developers need to stop forcing multiplayer into games that dont do well with it.
I could be completely wrong though. If anyone can prove me wrong, it would be redlynx![]()

I do not want multiplayer either. If there has to be a multiplayer then there shouldn't be any leaderboards for it because I'm sick of unskilled players at the top of "True Skill" leaderboards that actually think they are good because they can beat down OTHER unskilled players worse than them.
You'd be surprised

Which game are you talking about? The only true skill leaderboard i kno of is Halo3.Originally Posted by KyoshiYozima
I agree with the surprised, take away the top 3 riders, whoever you think they are, and the rest aren't that far apart. For instance, jook would own me at isabelle, i might take him on technique, but then again i might crash.
I imagine it'll be like THD with the ability to play head to head, so if you don't dig the mulitplayer you can just play for times like we do now.
i disagree.Originally Posted by ender3
jook is far closer to redriders skill level than somebody who struggles to obtain platinum medals is to jook.
Forza Motorsport 3, Doritos Crash Course, N+, All xbla golf games. Basically almost every game with a ranked multiplayer matchmaking system.Originally Posted by ender3
Just for fun get into a party with 4 of the best riders you know. All of you pick a track and race it ONE TIME with ONE CHANCE. If you fault oh well and you can't press B.
I did this with Murdoc, Slinky, and TruthxAssasin a couple months back.
"Alright guys, Final Flashback"
Murdoc: Fault, Fault, Fault
Kyoshi: Fault, Fault, Fault
Slinky: Fault, Fault, Fault
Truth: Fault, Fault, Fault
Go ahead, try it sometime it'll be funny
This should give you an idea of the multiplayer.

ahh, i don't play those, but if you say so, all i know is in Halo3 i'd beat generals all the time even tho i was only...not a general, i forget, but i also got beat by alot of gen's too.Originally Posted by KyoshiYozima
If there was a multiplayer leaderboard i don't think there'd be someone who was just lucky at the top. or maybe, ya know i have no idea how a trials multiplyaer lb would work, i don't know if it'd be like COD where if you played enough games to be #1 you'd get it, or if it'd be like tennis where you have to have the quality wins to be #1.
That sounds funny, wtf were all you ballers doing faulting final flashback? Not exactly a high degree of difficulty. I'd judge that by faults and time, 3 faults 38sec > 3 faults 40sec. So who won?Originally Posted by KyoshiYozima
