Goodbye, Trials HD. I believe I've finally gotten to the point where we will no longer see each other.

I leave with so many good memories - why else would I have come back so often? I've never played a video game for this long... maybe I've played as many hours, but not for as many months. I kept thinking I was done, but I'd get bored, re-do a track, and after knocking 3 seconds off my best time, I was hooked for countless more hours.

I wasn't the best player out there, finishing with just under 70 platinum medals.. but I was good enough that when I knocked .5 seconds off a track, I'd quickly check out the global leaderboards to see if I finally cracked the top 10000 (and then 5000, 2500, and 1000).

You've seen me at my best - completing Inferno II that first time (albeit with a time of 29:51 and over 200 faults) is one of my proudest gaming achievements.

You've also seen me at my worst - you've claimed two controllers, a light switch, and a piece of my wall. No other game invoked such emotion in me.

You made me do things I've never done - 5 hours one Saturday night trying to get past one level. No other game has captivated me like that.

You also have the best community of any game. Nowhere else can you post a message saying "Listen, I suck and I need help" and get such quick, helpful answers.

The value of this game is ridiculous. I was reminded of it again when I read that CoD DLC is coming out - $15 for 4 new multiplayer maps. Not quite the Trials HD bargain.

And so I say goodbye. There are other games and other life commitments, so I feel it's time to move on.

Goodbye everyone. Thanks for making this the best gaming community out there, and keep on striving for greatness.
