I agree with you that the commentary pretty much failed. But it's kind of hard for somebody who just blasts through the tracks to tell somebody else what to do. I would have most likely described it like that:,, Go over that obstacle, then over this obstacle, pass this obstacle and you reached the end. Congratulations!" Comparing it to an FPS commentary, I have to say that this was/ is way harder.Originally Posted by NfskMjmMal

Doesn't matter what you do JJ, you still suck for ignoring all my messages and FR.![]()
Oh wow... can't wait for the video to load
My best is 5 faults. And to me that was hard AS. Come on... load already lol...
That was a sick run. I didn't know one could clear the hole at the end of greatest hits.

she - why your mounth is so wide open?
me - come and watch you'll understand![]()
i've been working on it for a good week 2 hard hours a day and made countless of 7-10 faults runs and have gave it up because of big thrills.
now that i've pretty decent times on all new tracks, i think it's time to come back to the real challenge
BTW it looks like you 0-fault midnight club everyday before breakfast![]()
A-W-E-S-O-M-E JJ
ps
are you confident because you know all tracks very well or do you have a way to control your nerves ..... i'm really wondering
I was in the exact same position, Jinchu. Seriously, if you can 7 fault Midnight Club, then you can do it... if you can master your nerves.
Nervousness was the biggest problem I had on Midnight Club and Nervous Meltdown. There is something about doing a long tournament run that gets my heart beating like crazy when I get a good run. My guess is that players like JJtheGerman are so good at the game that they get less nervous, but I think most people do get nervous on these tournament runs and that's (partly) why you see a low success rate
Good luck!
at starfire : i will convice myself it's just easy as that
if it doesn't work, i will have to take something tranquilizing (some drugs, or pure malt???? heheheh)
even the nervous breakdown doesn't affect me like this one. weird ;;;;
good luck to everybody still trying to get it (i know you're a LOT)
I personnaly have tried two approaches for tournaments: the slow and steady one or the all-out-hardcore-speedrun-each-track-to-keep-focus one.
The first approach obviously works well on long tournaments as far as points for the leaderboard are concerned, but it's not so great to get platinum medals.
The second one works great for short tournaments or tournaments that regroup tracks you are confortable with.
My main problem with Midnight Club is that Diabolic and Brown Boxes are riddled with plywood, which I hate since no two jumps are the same. Luckily Diabolic is the first on the list.
