this topic is way off track! lets get back to bashing ajuvix like the thread was intended for!![]()

Thats pretty much what a few have done! Bashed the guy who didn't cause the glitch. But Mjay if it takes you only 30 min's? why don't you have all the world records? I mean come on thats some skill you got, I challenge you to go take overall 1st while your at it, you got 1 week to prove your worth, should be easy right? Seen as your so good, half hour for a 1st, 3 hours a day like you said make's around 42 a week if you just take it easy on yourself there, come on dude! I will be back here next week to find outOriginally Posted by jook13I know 100 percent your talking out your ***, you had maybe 12 or so records at once, not bad for 6 hours playing time ehhh? Johnny duck has had that many yet he's on the lower level to you so you posted right? Shut your trap dude! O.k hang on, I'm sorry I take it all back, 6 hour's is not alot is it, your pro dude! Yeah, I can't wait until Trials HD 2 =)Originally Posted by stickz027

Sideways, could you please stop being so obnoxious? I've asked you nicely.
To answer your question I've been speedrunning and trying to maintain first places on a few other games recently. Super Meat Boy, Keflings, Raskulls, Zeit, Bomberman: Battlefest and I've been trying to get into Lazy Raiders. I only have time to play defense on Trials atm not offense.
I'm not taking up your "challenge". All of the top players and regulars on Trials HD know who I am and what I am capable of and that's all that matters when it comes to competitive speedrunning. I don't need to prove myself to a nobody.
EDIT: Actually, you know what. You're right, I suck at this game.![]()
right? im gona sit in front of the xbox waiting till the very second! not even gona look through the tracks. just gona play the 1st one so i know what it feels like to be on the top 10Originally Posted by KyoshiYozima

This is already going to be an amazing year for gaming. If the next Trials comes out this Summer that'll be the most delicious gravy I've ever tasted in a long time.

Here's why i disagree. That's undoubtedly one of the sickest trials vids around. but it also took some luck to pull off. In the thread he posted in he mentioned how he 1-faulted it a couple times, i think he had the skill to 0 fault it before he pulled it off, and it wasn't till that lucky time that he was able to do it. I don't think that 240th time he tried gave him that extra .oo1 bit of skill needed to 0 fault it, and i doubt he could have done it again right after.Originally Posted by KyoshiYozima
JJ said it took him 5 hours to get the footage for his commentary, he's easily the best at Midnight Club but he still couldn't pull it off first or 10th try. Took him 5 hrs to get that lucky run where nothing went wrong and it all came 2gether.
With all the variables in play on a run it does take luck to pull it off flawlessly and hit every jump and landing and timesaver. A little too much gas or not enough and you don't hit your setup for the next obstacle. Sure the more skill you have the less luck you need but i think a little luck is always needed.
I'd say 80/20.
I said this awhile ago but I'll bring it up again. It's difficult for me to explain it but bear with me.
Not a single human in existence will ever become 100% efficient at Trials. The game's engine is simply way too complex.
The better you get the more you're able to predict what you want your bike to do. Since nobody is 100% efficient at Trials; the result will never be exactly what you want it to be. So the majority of your run is simply being able to quickly improvise and fix any errors you made after each movement.
Take for example someone being able to 0 fault Inferno II almost every time. (JJtheGerman)
JJtheGerman knows how to control his bike and since there is so much room for error on Inferno II compared to ninja tracks. It allows it to be easier for him to make an error with no consequences.
However if JJtheGerman were playing Bounce then that near 100% efficiency is more demanding since the slightest error will fault you rather than slow you down.
Theoretically, in the future people will be able to play Bounce like Inferno II.
This luck factor is completely based on the player.
Robot = 100/0
Lestropie = 90/10
Guy that never played trials before = 5/95
i'd agree with that. i was just pointing out it wasn't 100/0. I hadn't read your explanation.
