Please dont feel that this rant is personal just because a random second account bumped me down by one on my best track. I hope i am speakin on behalf of everyone here that RedLynx would take notice and do somethin to prevent this kind of unethicality from happenin in future games.

Not really much that RL can do either. The only thing I can think of that would cut down on multiple account posting, and it wouldn't end it, would be to require Xbox Live Gold memberships to post to leaderboards. And by doing that, they would cut out many of the people who only have one account.

This is a no-win situation, as the people who don't like it can't do anything at all about it, and the people who CAN stop it are the people who are doing it in the first place.

I wish it were different, but we live in an imperfect world, and some people can't help but being *******es.

i really wonder if the complaints are effective because even if they were banned for x-days, they wouldn't even know about it assuming they don't play everyday with there 2nd account......

The best you can do is to take that WR and make them loose spots and by the way the whole time they put in that cheaty ****.

i don't think Trials HD2 will be XBL Gold only leaderboards, to be honest.

this is a problem that only affects something like 0.0005% of the players and maybe RedLynx would lose buyers for Trials HD2 if it were XBL Gold only leaderboards.

don't get me wrong, i think multi-accounting for the reason of getting the top 3 times in a track or tourney or whatever is poor stuff. but i don't think it'd be considered enough of a problem to be drastically fixed.

yea Redlynx's hands are tied on this one. If there's to be a change it's on the community to make it happen. best i can come up with is try to get all the ppl who are "famous" or the good track-makers to take themselves off the offenders friends list.

Other than that you just have to beat them off...the leaderboards. Get inspired and focused. I watched your run, it was tight, beating the dickflicks guys time might take a minute but it's gonna feel good when you get it.

That would also be completely against Microsoft's ToS and you risk being console banned for receiving money or paying for goods/services.

Kinda like those poor lugs who paid for their CoD prestige, doesn't matter if you modded or not, it matters that you paid someone to get you something over Xbox live.

Good point. They are most likely too young to go out and have a drink and definitely unable to do the latter
