With the achievement discussion on the board and in chat, I started thinking about the toughest achievements in any game.

So, share with us which achievements you think are some of the toughest to get, and if you want, the achievements you found the toughest or are the most proud to have.

I'm pretty proud of these, although I know that with practice, a lot of people can get them:

Portal: Still Alive - Out of the Blue 25G
Once you have control of both portals, only enter the orange portal.

Limbo - No Point in Dying (10G)
Complete the game in one sitting with five or less deaths

Guitar Hero 3 - The Inhuman Achievement forgetG)
Complete Through the Fire and Flames on Expert

original ultimate endurance is gonna be hard to beat i guess.

but top dog (#1 on any track) in t2se was incredibly challenging as well

Mile High Club (CoD4) - 20G
- Sky dive to safety on Veteran difficulty
VERY challenging achievement, ive managed it 5 times

Test of Faith (Mirrors Edge) - 80G
- Complete the game without shooting an enemy
not hugely difficult but im proud of it nonetheless

Screamer! (FIFA 09) - 10G
- Score from over 30 yards out in a match
not hard but i did it in an online match and it was a BEAUT!

Out of the Blue (Portal) - 25G
- Once you have control of both portals, only enter the orange portal
went back thru the whole game about 7 times trying for this, didnt seem like i was doing anything wrong. was relieved when it came

Damn it's already been mentioned, but PLEASE do not say Mile High Club
I do not know why, but the only COD4 experience was playing the campaign through on Regular, i had TWO attempts at Mile High Club on Veteran and passed it!
I think i must of been the fastest ever person to do it in just my first two attempts! Maybe it was luck, but i did have a look on youtube before just to see how tough it would be.

But me personally, my hardest achievment and proudest achievment i have ever gotten has to be the original Marathon/Ultimate Endurance

@ elements - i know people who are very good at cod and finished the campaign without trouble on veteran and still spent hours and hours and months going for that achievement. maybe you are extremely skilled or very lucky but the achievement is definitely one of the hardest out there i think

My memory is terrible, but off the top of my head I can remember these:

I am proud of getting:

Ultimate endurance (even if I diden't get it before thay made it easier)

Enlightened guitarist (GH3)

Doctor of the Peggle Arts (Peggle)

Toughest ones I can't get:

All hail the splode king (Splosion man)

Out of the blue (Portal)

Several of GH3's achievements.

And much much more
