In theory could another track pack be released? | Forums

I know that 300 gamerscore is the maximum typically allowed for XBLA games, but would it be possible for another DLC track pack to be released without achievements in the future?

know how much time and effort goes into making tracks and I'm certainly not asking for it soon, just wondering if the possibility exists)

No they have used up all the memory so there is little to no chance of another map pack

Since all consoles have limited amount of memory, we just cannot load more and more stuff there indefinitely. Big Pack was really big (50 new objects), and used majority of our free memory we reserved for DLCs. For the new pack we basically had two choices: either to release very many tracks (new tracks use very little memory) and no objects at all, or to release a small amount of tracks and a small amount of extra objects (objects and their textures take a lot of memory). We obviously went with the very many tracks path, since that's what most players have been asking here in the forums. And ultimately I think it's the best choice in other ways as well (it doesn't split the community like a new pack with even just a few new objects would do).

Why not make your own track pack and release it one go, there are alot of track creators, really freaking good ones.

Add them play them and get jiggy on the community list, competing on here is just as cool.

Yeh that's a shame. I would LOVED to have seen a Community Track Pack with 30-50 user made tracks in.

I think some people have like 30+ tracks, I have 29 but some I haven't released because they are poo.

Hopefully, most of Redlynx is working on a THD2. I think a 40 track pack was their swan song for this game. That should hold us while they're working on a sequel.

Also hopefully they know whether the sequel will be another arcade game or full disc. I forget the exact amount but they've said they didn't have alot of memory to work on THD, i think it was in Mb's, but now arcade games are using up to 2 gigs. I think i'd prefer another arcade version but if they need a full disc cause what they come up with requires more than the arcade limit i probably won't be mad at them.
