Everytime I load up any game, there is an update... do I need to change a setting on my x box ???

Nothing... its like a normal update.. you have for any game. Only I get one everytime I play any game ..

Clear your cache. Go to System settings/memory. Highlight the HDD and press Y. Clear cache is there I think.
The cache can only store so many updates and eventually it will fill up and do what you have now, just update every game each time you play. Clear the cache and you will only have to update the games you play once.
