Its not over, there will be a next time. Trials is a successful game, there will be another incarnation. Before you know it Trials HD 2 will be on the horizon. Bigger, better, faster and probably on a disc. You know what that means? HUGE DLC content, none of this tiny 8mb (or 8kb trax) DLC stuff they are limited to by Xbox Live Arcade. As long as Redlynx is steering the bike, you know its going to exceed expectations tenfold and they will show appreciation to the fans tenfold too. I personally can't wait. Once they announce it, I know I'll feel like a six year old waiting for Christmas day.
I was thinking the same thing when the dlc came out. I've played customs that blow (heh) most of the RedLynx tracks out of the water...and I love most of the RedLynx tracks. I would kill a cute animal to have most of the custom tracks I've played in the game with leaderboards.
but tbh, I would rather want to see Trials HD 2 than another DLC pack. 10 free ones is ok, but any more than that IS too much.

RedLynx is probably running out of the allotted room they are given for an Arcade title in Trials HD. I know that they said that tracks don't actually take up a lot of room (and the download was super small), but I suspect that the editor objects from the first DLC took up a lot of the room that they had.
User voting is an extremely tough thing to get right too. Especially with the fact that there are thousands of tracks out there. Either certain popular tracks will receive very few votes, or people will decide as a group before they vote, and that kind of ruins the experience too. I'm not saying that there isn't a way to do it, because I can think of several ways that it would work as well.
I'm all for another DLC if it is possible, but I think I'd prefer THD2.

Trials HD 2 as an full retail game with an custom track support like in Far Cry 2 would be awesome!
