Hey all!
So, you want to compete with your friends on Trials Legends? Thanks to GameScrub and the people at RedLynx, you can!
Here's a few easy steps to get you started:
1. On your computer find the "trialslegends" folder. In Windows Vista, it's located in your profile folder (the folder with the same name as your login name). If you can't find it there, just run a search on your computer for "trialslegends".
2. In that folder, locate the file called user_settings.properties
3. Double-click the file to open it (or right-click and choose Open). It should ask you if you want to search the web, or use a program on your computer. Choose to look for the program on your computer, and find Notepad in the list.
4. Once the file is opened in Notepad, you should see something like this:
5. Edit the file as follows:
#

SERVER_SEND=http://www.trialslegends.net/log.aspx
PREVIOUSPLAYER=
SERVER=http://www.trialslegends.net/log.aspx

FACEBOOK_NAME=
MUSICVOLUME=1.0
SFXVOLUME=1.0
SERVER_LINK=http://www.trialslegends.net/tracks.aspx
TRACK_PAGE=1
SERVER_NAME=TrialsHD.net Legends
FULLSCREEN=false
It should appear as shown in the highlighted part of image above.
6. Save the file, close it, and restart Trials Legends.
7. Check your scores at the beta leaderboards on TrialsHD.net.
NOTE: As you can tell, the leaderboard page is NOT finished. There will be updates to the page, so please do not be upset if things change. We are still working out a few bugs, but by adding scores you can help us test the system. Please report any issues you have in this topic.
Not working? Try the following:

Great work Les and Scrub.
EDIT:
Under a default install of Windows Vista and Trials Legends, this folder can be found by doing the following.
Computer > Local Disc > Users > User Name > trialslegends
Damn that is fast work. Updated my file alread![]()
I've updated the settings file but my scores arent uploading.
I'm pretty sure it is because of the \ before the url but I can't try it without now. If I edit the file and play the game it keeps re-editing that file to put the old url in. ARRRGGGGHHH!
Crap. Sorry all. I fixed the URL above, but I my game added the extra \ too, and I can post scores just fine.Originally Posted by EuphoricFusion

Hopefully that works.
Its ok mate it seems the game adds that \. I deleted my high score file and restarted the game and it seems to work fine.
Just remember you need to give the program full internet access for it to work too.
Sweet, works perfect. Keep it up!![]()
argh i just cant get it to work. i opened the file and changed it :/ why is it still not sending informatinos? do i have to do this
FACEBOOK_UID=
SERVER=
FACEBOOK_NAME=
stuff too?
Try a couple of things!
1. Close the game
2. Give the game access on your firewall
3. Delete your highscores file
4. Edit the Server_Send with http://www.trialshd.net/logs.aspx
5. Start game and play first track
6. Enter your name once track is finished
7. Continue to next track
8. Check website
Don't add special characters to the url, the game will modify it for you.
using SERVER_NAME and SERVER_LINK will show a button on the leaderboards screen with the server's name. When clicked it will open a new window using the link as the address. The link doesn't have to be the same as SERVER_SEND so that you can use any web page for it.
