It seems to have been down for a while. Anybody know why or when it will return? I am guessing they are re-doing it for that damn kkinect thing...

It was down last night and the other day for me too. Hopefully this means that the dashboard update is near.

Correct - I got the email saying November 1st - It said new feature list at xbox.com but I couldnt find some so we will find out - I hope its a friends increase

My friend dowloaded the update and it corrupted every file on his xbox.

So I ran the update, and I only had one tab, My XBOX. I Managed to fix that, but still had zero friends online or even on my friends list when signed in and connected to XBL.

After restarting 3 times, I realized that something called System Safety or whatever was turned on, and wouldn't let me communicate with other people because it was worried I was a child and protecting me from predators like Reaper.

Once I turned off System Safety, it finally gave me the terms of use that I needed to agree to. However, because my country is set to Canada, it gave me the terms in French. Nice job, MS, nice job.

epic fail it seems. I get to 80% downloaded then it says cant download the update.. tad annoying
